Here’s what we plan to write about:

  • Creating and Supporting Software. This is what we do every day, so we hope to share our thoughts about the joys and frustrations of our profession.
  • Employee Ownership. FBS is 100% owned by our employees through an ESOP. Although FBS has been in business for over 25 years, we became employee owned about two years ago, and it’s been a fascinating ride so far. We hope to share what we see as the benefits and challenges of being employee owned and hopefully learn from others traveling this same path.

We hope you find reason to return frequently, grab our RSS feed, and post your comments.

“The most important aspect of freedom of speech is freedom to learn. All education is a continuous dialogue – questions and answers that pursue every problem on the horizon.” William O. Douglas, U.S. Supreme Court Justice.

    Welcome to the RE.net blogosphere!

The problem I see with several MLS systems is they are all designed differently. It would be nice if the format would be the same. With a national system this could be achieved. As an appraiser, we are forced to belong to several MLS’s. If you belong to one it would be nice to be able to join others at a reduced rate. Some are very cheap and others are quiet expensive. It seems like it all revolves around dues, not service or the quality of the information. This is not the providers problem but caused by the various boards.

  3. Personally, I completely agree with you, Real Estate is a tough industry and we’ve got to keep on top of all the latest trends within it. Thanks for your info, it was really useful.
